Hair cut techniques for men are an art by itself and there are no outright wrong or right ways to achieve fantastic outcomes. Now what the main techniques that are to being adopted by stylists vary from one to another. But in general there are certain Hair cut techniques for men that are being followed by the majority of the Barbers and Stylists :-

1. Moisture: - Although clipper work and cutting are mostly done on dry hair, most of the shear and razor work are done on wet hair.
2. Cross checking: - This step is very much essential just to observe or rather get an idea about how the hair cutting is being carried out on both sides and how the symmetric nature on both sides are unfolding. Some say it unnecessary, but is very essential for final outcome.
3. Anchor-Pivot-Suspend: - Anchoring, pivoting and suspension – these three things are to be carried out in order so as to ensure the smoothest transition possible.
4. Blending: Clipper-Over-Comb :-  During blending using clipper over comb is very essential. It should be done using large blades for uniform cut where as small blades give a blunt cut.
5. Blending Shears & hair cutting razor:- One method of blending is blending with shears. Using large shears will give line whereas small ones will produce blunt cut. For using razor, it should be held in a manner in between upright and flattened position for better cut.
6.  Texturizing : - A razor can be used for Texturizing by cutting the ends of the hair.
7. Finishing & necklines:- finishing is utmost important since it produces the icing on the cake with the desired look where as stylists need to choose between blocked and tapered necklines.
